USG Joint Tapes

USG Bead and Trim
products encompass a wide variety of corner profiles, available in paper-faced metal bead and trim styles to compliment the SHEETROCK® Brand Joint Compound line.
USG Primers
provide a base that equalizes the absorption rate and surface texture variations between the drywall face paper and the finished joint compound when painted. The product line includes a formulations to meet interior wall and ceiling priming needs before painting or texturing as well as an innovative Primer-Surfacer to reduce job time whilst offering a superior finish.

SHEETROCK® Brand All Purpose Ready Mixed Joint Compound is used for embedding joint tape, finishing gypsum panel joints and for hand-applied simple texturing. It combines single-package convenience with good taping and topping performance. Also recommended for skim coating gypsum panel surfaces, laminating and repairing cracks in interior plaster and masonry not subject to moisture.
SHEETROCK® Brand All Purpose Ready Mixed Joint Compound features excellent slip, good crack resistance, and low shrinkage for ease in joint finishing. Excellent bonding properties are retained even under humid job conditions.

SHEETROCK® Brand DURABOND® Setting-Type Joint Compounds are chemically-setting powder compounds for drywall interiors that permit same-day joint finishing and, usually, next-day decoration. They provide a hard, plaster-like surface when dry and are virtually unaffected by humidity. (They are difficult to sand after drying; must be smoothed before complete setting.) Also ideal for heavy fills. They provide low shrinkage and superior bond, which make them excellent for laminating gypsum panels to gypsum panels, to sound-deadening boards, and to above-grade concrete surfaces. |

SHEETROCK® Brand First Coat Primer is an ideal primer for various interior priming applications. It effectively hides substrate texture and helps present a smooth finish coat. It produces a clean, white decorating surface that readily accepts a variety of finishes and decoration. SHEETROCK® Brand First Coat applies easily with brush, roller, airless or conventional spray. An economical primer option, it covers approximately 28 to 46m² (300 to 500 ft²) per 3.8 litres (gallon). A standard 19 litre pail will be expected to cover 140 to 230m². |
